Geological Setting

Geology underpins the property’s potential. The area is located within the Quesnel Arc, one of Canada’s most prolific copper belts, and hosts multiple intrusive events, several of which are well-known for copper-gold porphyry mineralization.

  • Tulameen Ultramafic-Mafic Complex (Late Triassic)

  • Copper Mountain Suite (Late Triassic–Early Jurassic)

  • Hosts the Copper Mountain Mine (10 km east), actively producing

  • Eagle Pluton (Jurassic)

  • Whipsaw Porphyry (Tertiary)

Alteration and mineralization identified at surface, in particular the high-grade mineralization and accompanying alteration exposed in the three trenches in the Wilmac MINFILE occurrence, are interpreted as high-level expressions of a deeper causative source, the parent magma(s)

Recent Field Programs

Recent work has focused on confirming access, geological mapping, sub-surface IP/AMT geophysics and collecting samples (both rock and soil) to refine exploration targets. These activities continue to validate the property’s potential to host a copper-gold porphyry system.

  • Road network surveys → confirmed access to / within tenures (1096893, 1083691, 1108748) and new tenure “Plume’ (tenure 1124770 - pending approval)

  • Rock sampling campaigns → diorite, gabbro, pyroxenite & hornblendite exposures

  • Sampling previous trenching at Wilmac MINFILE → chalcopyrite + epidote alteration

  • 2024: results 96 soil samples (received August 2025)

→ High copper values to 1,125 ppm

  • An additional 833 soil samples in 2025

  • Partial IP / AMT geophysical survey on the Wilmac grid in 2025

  • West Lamont and Plume in 2026

  • Evidence of Alkalic Cu-Au Porphyry system potential – multiple sites

  • Wilmac and Lamonts Grid → drill ready
